Each interview will be different, and each employer will have their unique approach. We have given a very brief overview of typical interview formats. Think through the different styles of interviews – and be ready for anything. If you receive a phone call in advance of the interview, it is appropriate to ask what the format for the interview will be. If you know in advance the kind of interview you will be participating in, do some internet research to ensure you are prepared for the interview style.
