Kitchener-Waterloo has been home to a car cooperative, Community CarShare (see link below), since 1988. Cars are located throughout the community, members book a car for a certain time, then pay a certain fee for using the car. Members do not pay for maintenance or gas. There are different membership options depending on how you plan to use the CarShare.
