There are a variety of ways you as a landlord might advertise the unit you have available for rent. The Working Centre’s Housing Desk can be an effective means of getting your place posted publicly. There a few ways of doing this with us:
- Dropping into The Working Centre and posting your rental information on our public housing bulletin board
- Using our Rental Registry to share your rental with our housing desk worker. Drop it off, fax it, or email us. This is a way to share your unit with our housing desk worker—which can be shared with prospective tenants at your request (either publicly or as we meet with them one-on-one).
- Calling us at 519-743-1151 x 117 to talk more about what we do and how we can get your unit availability
Some of the other ways to get your rental posted might include:
- Posting your rental online: Kijjiji Rentals, Craigslist, etc
- Posting it in public spaces around the community (ie/ Queen Street Commons, cafe, convenient stores, etc)
- Placing a ‘For Rent’ sign in the window of your unit
- Creating a Newspaper Advertisement
