Wilmot Family Resource Centre (WFRC) is a charitable, multi- service organization with locations in Baden, Wellesley, and New Hamburg, focusing on strong and healthy communities where all individuals are accepted and where there are opportunities to participate and grow.
Wilmot Family Resource Centre is currently hiring a full-time Volunteer, Grants & Special Projects Coordinator for 35 hours per week.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The ideal candidate will be adept at managing diverse responsibilities and contributing to various aspects of our operations to support the organization's mission.
The Volunteer, Grants & Special Projects Coordinator will report to the Executive Director and play an important multifaceted role in volunteer management, project support, and grant administration. The successful candidate will oversee the recruitment, training, recognition, and management of volunteers, ensuring their contributions are effective and fulfilling. They will provide support for special projects and initiatives, as well as grant ensuring that our strategic goals are met successfully.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, and experience with volunteer management, grant writing and reporting, as well as project coordination are essential.

This position will work primarily weekdays with occasional evening and weekend hours required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in nonprofit management, social work or another field of human services or a related degree or diploma with at least five (5) years' experience working in a similar field
- Education, training and/or knowledge through experience with volunteer management, project management, and grant administration
- Knowledge of grant writing and grant compliance requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience and strong skills in accurate and efficient data entry using computer systems
- Be able to problem solve, manage time well, and prioritize responsibilities
- Flexible, organized and ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment
- Proficient in the use of computers, internet, and various software (Microsoft office suite)
- Experience with Canva software and CRM/volunteer management software an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills including exercising compassion, discernment, & modelling of appropriate boundaries
- Non-judgmental and inclusive approach
- Knowledge of WFRC programs and services and other community resources an asset
- Have access to reliable transportation
- Clean Vulnerable Police Records Check
- Mandatory Covid-19 vaccination policy is in place for all employees
- CPR and First Aid certificate an asset

DETAILS: Full-time 35 hours/week, $28.00/hour starting wage, expected start date in October 2024.
