"The Working Centre's provincial funding was renewed to offer free tax clinics for people struggling on a low income.
The Kitchener centre will get up to $150,000 a year for the next four years to provide personalized financial coaching sessions, financial literacy workshops and clinics to help people file their taxes.
Filing a return that takes full advantage of credits can 'shift a low income into a more reasonable income,' said Stephanie Mancini, co-ordinator of the Working Centre."
