"A community dental clinic, one of only two in the province, has successfully opened its doors in Waterloo Region.
Since the Working Centre opened it half a year ago at 83 Victoria St. N., Kitchener, the clinic has served 70 low-income adults who’ve had little or no dental care in the past.
'These are folks who’ve been asked to leave other clinics whether it’s because they’re no shows or because of mental health or substance use issues,' said Sara Escobar, an outreach worker with the Working Centre."
