The Working Centre has a culture of taking personal responsibility for work. This culture is stronger and more immediately relevant to the work than a written policy - it is a policy of each staff person taking personal responsibiltiy in their role. Building on the principles of personalism, reciprocity, and ethical discussion, individuals and the group make decisions and take action in a way that is thoughtful beyond the scope of a written policy. These policies do, however, document and reflect some of the principles by which the Working Centre and our staff can make decisions.
