Please join us on Thursday June 22 as we celebrate the opening of The Working Centre’s 256 King Street East location and the successful completion of our Capital Housing Campaign.
The main and lower levels of this new space host a new café, the Commons Studio community filmmaking space, digital media arts space, entrepreneurial supports – including co-working space for young entrepreneurs – and flexible event and classroom space. The upper level consists of 8 new units of housing (part of the 17 new units supported by the Capital Housing Campaign). These units are now home to people who have experienced persistent homelessness in our community.
At 12:15 Joe and Stephanie Mancini will share their thoughts about this new space, and tours of the main and lower levels will be available.
