Cook (experienced in Tibetan cuisine)

Loga's Corner is a busy and growing Tibetan restaurant in the Parkdale neighborhood of Toronto. We are seeking a full time cook experienced in making Tibetan cuisine, specifically Momos (dumplings), Shabaley (beef patty), Tingmo, Bartsamarku, and Thukpa for a two-year term of employment. Job duties -
- Prepare and cook Tibetan Momos, Shabaley, Tingmo, Bartsamarku, and Thukpa
- Clean kitchen and work areas; Maintain high level of sanitation as prescribed by local health department
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Receive products from vendors; Examine product and invoices to ensure correct prices

Job requirements-
- Must present a positive and professional attitude
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and high quality food products
- At least five years' experience working in Tibetan restaurant kitchen
- Ability to work eight hour shifts
- Ability to communicate in English (Ability to speak Tibetan, Hindi, and/or Nepalese is considered an asset)
- No minimum education requirement

Wage: $16.55/hour

Hours: 40 hours/week
