Community Dental Clinic
The Working Centre, in collaboration with philanthropic dental professionals, operates Community Dental, a two-chair clinic designed to improve access to preventive dental services and offering free basic dental health care for people who are experiencing homelessness or are at-risk of homelessness.
In 2024 we provided over 200 dental appointments at a total value of $114,000 (based on the Ontario Dental Association fee guide). The patients were not charged and otherwise would not have been able to afford this critical care. It was possible through the generousity of funders, donors, and the volunteer work of dental professionals.
